Toy Drive – Slightly brightening the holiday season for children in need

In November 2025, we organised a Toy Drive to help make the holiday season a little brighter for children in need. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to collect a wonderful variety of new and gently used toys that would bring joy to children and their families during the festive season.

Several local stores—Van den Tweel, Bruna, and Dijtham—kindly supported the initiative by serving as collection points for toy donations. To reach as many people as possible, we shared information about the Toy Drive throughout our network in four languages: Papiamentu, Dutch, English, and Spanish. Donations were collected until the beginning of December, allowing many individuals and families to contribute.

After the collection period, our team carefully sorted and gift-wrapped each toy before distributing them to children who could benefit from an extra surprise during the holidays. Seeing the generosity of the community come together to create special moments for children made the initiative a great success.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated a toy, helped spread the word, or supported the Toy Drive in any way. We are also grateful to Van den Tweel, Bruna, and Dijtham for generously providing collection locations. Together, we were able to help make the holidays a little more joyful for many children.
