Successful Event for Haitian Community at Consulate

On June 8th, 2024, a special event took place at the Haitian Consulate from 3 to 7 p.m.,

organized in collaboration with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF),

local dentists affiliated with Un Smail pa Kòrsou and Salú pa Tur. The purpose of this

event was to inform the Haitian community about the various services available for

them.

The turnout was large, with many members of the Haitian community gathering to take

advantage of the services and information on offer.

During the event, PADF provided extensive information about their programs and how

they can support the Haitian community. In addition, local dentists offered free dental

checkups, with participants also receiving a free toothbrush and toothpaste.

Salú pa Tur contributed by carrying out free blood pressure and sugar level

measurements, and managed to reach many new patients. Items of clothing that had

previously been donated were also distributed.

There were various activities for the children, including face painting, which provided a

lot of fun.

Of course, the food could not be missed, so everyone could enjoy a meal during this

informative and supportive event.

The collaboration between the Haitian Consulate, PADF, Un Smail pa Kòrsou and Salú

pa Tur has once again proven how joint initiative can contribute to the well-being of the

community.
