News Update: Un Smaíl pa Kòrsou – A Day of Dental Care and Smiles

On November 10, 2024, Fundashon Salú pa Tur, in collaboration with the Mondhygiënistenvereniging and Stichting Help de Schoolkinderen, proudly organized Un Smaíl pa Kòrsou at Sint Antonius College.

This impactful event, held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, brought together over 100 dedicated volunteers who arrived as early as 7:00 AM to prepare for the day.

More than 400 children participated, receiving essential dental check-ups, guidance on oral hygiene, and kits to help them maintain healthy habits at home. The event highlighted the importance of preventive care, ensuring that Curaçao's youth can grow up with confident, healthy smiles.

For Salú pa Tur, this initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to make healthcare accessible to everyone, especially uninsured migrant families who are at the heart of our work. Events like this remind us why we do what we do: seeing the smiles of those we serve is the greatest reward.
